I have just seen a lovely photo of some paper flowers as a bouquet, in this very forum and I thought what a great idea, they will last longer, if not forever and you can separate them and use them as decorations in your house after the big day.... trouble is, would you throw the bouquet or keep it, I would be very inclined to keep it and not throw it, lol, what do you think? If the bridesmaids have a little bouquet too you could use it as a wedding favour and save some costs?

Permalink Reply by CK Events LLC on March 31, 2012 at 4:12pm It depends on what one wants. For my wedding I have two bouquets. The one I threw away, my bridesmaids, and my centerpieces were made out of artifical flowers from michaels, hobby lobby, etc. The bouquet that I walked down the aisle with was a fresh flower bouquet from the florist. It was hard to tell that I had "fake" flowers at my wedding.
Being a wedding planner its what is acceptable to the bride and what they can afford. Again I've seen it done both ways, some brides want all fresh flowers and others want the look of fresh flowers without the cost.
