I think budget is probably the top reason, aside from this many people get married in another area or have a destination wedding, and this would mean less guests too. I think it's much more comfortable having a smaller wedding with an intimate amount of guests who are closest to you, it seems like it would be much more meaningful.

My Sister in law had a very personal reception, she decked out her garden with romantic bunting and fairy tale lights and she had a buffet with cupcakes and champagne, it was really lovely and magical.  I personally think that budget is the main reason couples have a small reception, but not only that people tend to interact less these days, we have more cyber friends than real friends and whos gonna waste money on a cyber friend who you dont really know.  What do you think? xxxx

Budget is the main factor that couple like to celebrate their wedding between 50-70 or 100 max. Some of couple are unable to spend more money on their wedding and some others do not like to celebrate a big function. They want to host a small and very simple occasion on the day. The Budget is the most effective reason for scheduling wedding reception very short only with 50-70 people approx. One more thing I noticed that now days every one is busy with their daily routine so many of them do not get time to attend the wedding ceremony function. This may cause of waste of food and man other things. So it is the better ideal to celebrate your wedding only with your family members and some of your close ones.
