Joining wedding groups here on Tying The Knott is a way for you to be identified as a particular type of wedding vendor, but to also see who else is here on this website offering the same wedding services or products that you do.

Each group has a section showing you all of the members who are a part of the group, an each group also has other sections, such as a general comments section at the bottom, but also a forums section for the groups members to start a forum discussion in that group for anything you want to discuss with other members in that group.

When you join a group here on Tying The Knott and participate in the group by starting discussions in the groups forums and replying to other discussions, you will stand out as a valuable and contributing member of that group, and this gives you credibility both here on the website and also for your particular wedding industry.

And on their profile page you can send them a friend request, just like you can on Facebook, MySpace and other social networking and social media websites.
