Every member, including wedding vendors, have the ability to write and post blogs on TyingTheKnott. You may already write blogs on your own website, or maybe you didn't know about the opportunity to write wedding blogs here, or how it would benefit you, so allow me to share the details with you here.

When you write and post a wedding blog here on TyingTheKnott it is crawled that same day by Google and other search engines, who then determines who original, informative and important your wedding blog is, and they then place your blog within their search engine results for the most frequently used keywords within your blog. Out of over 125,000 websites using the same keywords, my blog shows up in 6th place on page 1 of Google which you can see for yourself right HERE.

So why is this important? The answer is simple, brides are searching the internet for information and inspiration for their wedding more than they are searching for the actual wedding vendors. With this in mind, it is much easier for you to get noticed by these brides by posting wedding blogs than it is for you to compete with thousands of other wedding vendors trying to get their websites noticed.

When you write a wedding blog here on TyingTheKnott it will be found within the search engine results of Google and other search engines within a day or two, and the more it is clicked when found in the results, the higher up it's moved in the result pages.

Aside from your blog being noticed, so will you as a wedding vendor. You may place a credit either at the top or bottom of your wedding blog for your wedding business, and include a link to your own website in every blog that you write. In addition, you can link a keyword or keyword phrase within the actual article of your wedding blog at a specific point, so that even if they don't see the credit at the beginning or end of your blog, they will certainly see your link within one of the paragraphs they are reading.

Not only will this give you the opportunity to have brides reading your blog to visit your website by clicking on the link from your wedding blog, but since your wedding business website link is found within your blog, Google will also follow this link and crawl your website again, this link will then give your website more value and will increase your own page rank, which will help your own website to climb up in the results of search engines which each blog that you write here on TyingTheKnott.

If you are not sure what to write about, just put a little thought into it. Your wedding blog should be written to offer brides information, inspiration or tips that relate to whatever wedding product or wedding service that you offer. Your wedding blog should not be just to promote yourself, since if it's just all about you Google will not see this being of value since it's only promoting yourself and is not informative and doesn't help brides get information they are searching for.

If you are a wedding photographer, your wedding blog could be "wedding photography tips for the best wedding photos" or maybe "poses for formal wedding photos" or even "things a bride can do to guarantee the best wedding pictures..." (like the first kiss, extending it a bit longer to make sure the photographer is getting at least one good shot of the first kiss at the alter.

No matter what your profession is, what wedding service or products you offer, there are always many things you can write about in wedding blogs to offer information, inspiration and tips to brides and grooms planning their weddings.
