Excellent Reverend Donna.

I find that often times the couple has put in very little thought on making their ceremony special to them as a couple. I always invite them to write their own wedding vows and ring vows too. Whenever I get that blank look, I hand them a copy of my signature rose ceremony and tell them to use it as a foundation. I explain that the roses can be replaced with wine, candles, sand, etc. My goal is to waken that inner creativity and bring it to the surface.

Agreed, would you be willing to share your rose ceremony?  I've designed every ceremony I've done to encompass the couples' backgrounds and personalities and they've been more than satisfied, never a dry eye in the house.  When they tell you, it's perfect and says everything they feel, you know you've hit the nail on the head. It's a big day and it seems strange that they would use the least amount of imagination in that aspect.  Thanks for the comments.

My Rose ceremony isn't all that unique but I will say there is always at least one "Awww" from the attendees. I don't see why I can't share it. Perhaps you have a ceremony you'd like to send my way too. I'm always looking for something old, something new, something borrowed but not something blue :)
