- I'm a wedding photographer from New Jersey who serves brides and grooms getting married in New Jersey and New York.
I have been married to my wife for almost 16 years, who is also a wedding photographer, and ironically that is how we met. 17 years ago a client had booked two wedding photographers, myself and my wife, and when the bride realized she made the mistake of hiring two wedding photographers instead of a wedding photographer and a videographer it was already too late, it was her wedding day.
Normally I would have been upset, and certainly my wife and any other wedding photographer would have been upset too, but this other photographer defused my confusion and anger right away with the most beautiful smile and sparkling crystal blue eyes. I somehow forgot all about being upset over the brides confusion, and for the first time I was willing to work with a competing photographer at the same wedding.
We talked quite a bit throughout the night and even had dinner together during the reception, and the more we talked the more we both saw how much we had in common.
The rest of the night was filled with awkward flirting, and I felt like a teenager back in high school again. She awakened my senses and peaked my interest from the moment I first seen her smile, and to this day it still warms my heart thinking of the day we first met. What should have been an upsetting situation has turned into a lifetime of happiness for me, and what was once a passion of mine, was turned into a destiny of two people becoming one... set off to capture the priceless moments of many couples wedding days, one story at a time.
