- Greetings & welcome to my profile. My name is Jessica, I'm from Billerica, MA and I'm getting married in Boston, Massachusetts on August 11th, 2012 to the love of my life Brian.
We are very excited about our wedding next year, but I think that I am more than he is... typical, I suppose, when it comes to guys?
Yes, we have a date set for our wedding, BUT... I am just now choosing the locations for the ceremony and reception and booking all of our wedding needs. It's a little over a year, but pretty much a year away, and before mid August of this year I just want to have everything... or mostly everything booked, especially the location of our wedding ceremony and reception.
Then I need to plan other important wedding details like a wedding photographer, and depending on the wedding photographers prices we may want a videographer to work alongside the photographer so that we have photos and a video.
Then of course my dress... I have a vision of what I would like to have for a wedding dress but since I'm still tossing a few ideas around for a wedding theme & colors, I don't want to pick out my dress without knowing exactly what theme & colors we'll have since my bridesmaids dresses will depend on this too.
Then I can start planning our food and book the catering...
Do you see how exciting this is and how many thoughts are racing through my head? Now I need to start sprinting to catch up with all my thoughts so I can put all this together in the next couple months!
I found this website at the perfect time for Brian and I to get some ideas for our wedding and tips on wedding planning, and then of course hopefully finding some wedding businesses and vendors around Massachusetts to consider booking for our wedding.
I know this is a new website and that people from all over are starting to join, but I'm hoping that I can still get some helpful ideas and tips to inspire my thoughts for my own wedding. I will be checking out all of the blogs and forums for all of your tips since coming from a wedding professional would mean more to me then just simply reading about people's opinions on other websites that I have found, this website seems to have the best concept in everything I am hoping to get when planning my wedding and hopefully I can find some inspiration in all of your blogs and forums that you post to share your own professional experience which would HUGELY help brides like me who are excitedly going crazy with the joy of wedding planning!
