Hello and Welcome to Tying The Knott.
To answer your question about keywords, there are ways for you to show up in more keyword searches, both here on the website and also in Google and other search engines.
1) Edit Your Profile - Include the keywords in your profile description that you want to show up for. Don't plug too many keywords though because the system will flag your profile for spam, and if anyone comes to your profile they won't get the information they potentially need and see it as spam too. You can edit your profile page HERE.
2) Upload Photos - When you upload photos you can include searchable keywords in your photo titles, descriptions, and tags. When brides search the photos, they are looking for some wedding ideas and inspiration, so if you include photos that show what you have to offer or ways to inspire brides, those photos get more hits than any others. 3) Upload Videos - Just like photos, you can also share videos on Tying The Knott, and the title, description and tags are all searchable here on our website and also in Google Videos. Upload Videos HERE.
4) Write Blogs - The blogs on our website have VERY HIGH visibility and appear within search engine results on Google and other search engines within an hour or two after you post your blog. The more informative and inspirational your blog is, the better the chance you have for your blog to be shown on our homepage. Blogs on our homepage get thousands of hits. Write and Post Blogs HERE.
5) Forum Discussions - You can start new forum discussions whenever you would like. Get questions answered or just start conversations with other members on wedding related topics. Forum discussions also have searchable keywords in the title, within the forum discussion and in the tags you include for the forum discussion. Post Forum Discussions HERE.
