As we all know, the white color has been a symbol of purity and happiness and it is considered as the symbol of virginity also in some communities. However, dating back to the Victoria era, white dresses symbol purity and was not popular until around 1840 when Victoria Regina got married to Prince Albert wearing a white gown. Since then the white wedding gown ranked the top of the other colorful wedding dresses and both young girls and the old folks would consider a white wedding dress instead of others. But nowadays, it is concluded by Bridesire that top designers shift their views more toward the colorful elements, even the dark side- black wedding dresses. And up to now, many brides have accepted the black wedding dresses just to show the world they have the taste of fashion. Right! Sarah Jessica Parker wore black when she married Matthew Broderick in 1997 and many actress brides are proud of wearing a black wedding dress.
