Lets be honest here. When a fuller figured bride gowns into a bridal salon she is not going to normally find just a ton of plus size wedding dresses for her to choose from. They may ask her to look through a catalog. Or they will simply bring over some tiny bridal dresses for her to look at. But there is never really a lot to "try on". Well here at Darius Cordell Fashion Ltd that is not necessarily a horrible thing. It baffles us daily that for such an expensive and important special occasion piece that people want to try on items that were not made for them. Sure you want to get a feel for what a garment will look like on your body. But the truth is....there is no real way to do this when your torso may be longer or shorter. You may be that sample size 10 but have larger or smaller bust so it lays on your totally wrong. And instead of having that item made to order you instead simply dismiss the design and say it does not work. That is just not fair to the design. We feel that any design can work on any body frame....as long as that design is made for that persons specific body shape and dimensions. We have seen it work time and time again when brides are searching for plus size wedding gowns. So if you cant try on a cetain dress. Don't fret. The first thing you need to figure out is initially do I like this dress or not. Then say to your self have aI ever worn this cut before in a blouse or shirt, etc... and did I like it. Once you determine that you like a design the next step is to simply have it made to order for your specific body shape - and not just in a size from a designers size chart. trust me. It makes a difference!
